Junior Fine Arts

If you have enrolled to participate in the Jr. Fine Arts Regional Festival, you may register students in the FACCS Portal. Registration Deadline is Monday, April 1.

When you have collected all of your group and individual information for all three areas (Art, Music, Speech) you can register in the FACCS Portal.

Please do not miss any student or group as NO NEW REGISTRATIONS OR ADDITIONS TO REGISTRATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER APRIL 1, 2024.

Cancellations will be permitted through Friday, April 5. After that, all entries will be responsible for registration fees even if the individual or group does not participate.

Participants/groups in grades 3-8 who score the highest or second highest evaluation with at least an "Excellent" rating in the regional festivals will advance to the FACCS Junior Fine Arts State Competition.

• Member Individual / Duet Entries - $15 per individual per entry
• Homeschool Individual / Duet Entries - $22 per individual per entry
• Small Group / Readers' Theater Entries - $60 per group
• Ensemble / Choral Speaking / One-Act Play Entries - $100 per group
• Band/Orchestra / Chorus Entries - $190 per group

Some Individual / Solo / Duet fees may be increased in some regions to cover particular regional expenses.

The scheduled date for the Regional Festivals is Friday, April 19, however some regions will hold their events on different or multiple dates. Please see the dates and locations below that apply to your region.

In the event of an apparent discrepancy or action in violation to the manual at the regional event, a school official or home educator may request to file an official inquiry in the FACCS Portal into the matter (parents may not file an inquiry). For the regional event, the request must be filed in the FACCS Portal no later than 72 hours after the close of the regional event. Failure to pickup judging sheets does not lengthen the time limit required to request the inquiry.

No registrations will be accepted after Friday, April 26.
