Apply for Certification

There are two ways to apply for FACCS Professional Educator Certification: 

  1. Online - To apply online, login to the FACCS Portal, and select Certification.  If you do not have a FACCS username and password, select Register on the login page.  Feel free to contact the Office of Program Services if you have any questions. 
  2. PaperDownload, complete, and mail the application to the Office of Program Services.

Materials and information you will need: 

  • Certificate type, level/sub-level, and any endorsements for which you wish to apply
  • Official transcripts from ALL colleges/universities attended (these may be copied ONLY by your school and verified by your administrator upon submission to FACCS)
  • If applying for a renewal, a transcript of your earned ISPs from the Master Inservice Program
  • Copy of CDA/CDAE/FCCPC if applying for an Early Educator certificate
  • Proof of completion of a Philosophy of Christian Education course
  • Form of payment (see application for fees)

Note: Technically one must be an employee of a FACCS school to apply. However if you hold a FACCS certificate and are no longer employed at a FACCS school, you may still apply for renewal - please contact our office for more information. Applicants who are applying for employment at a FACCS school may, if they wish, acquire a FACCS certificate prior to employment.
