A voice for Christian education
FACCS represents member schools and religious ministries before the Florida Legislature — defending religious liberty and the freedom to teach according to scriptural faith and practice.
Since 1968, one of FACCS's most important roles has been to stand for Christian schools where decisions are made. Laws and regulations often impact the policies, procedures, academics, activities of a school, how they legitimately operate, and whether they remain free to pursue their mission — and Christian schools deserve an informed, principled voice at the table.
Through its legislative services, FACCS provides that voice: a consistent presence in Tallahassee, careful attention to the issues that affect Christian education, and clear communication that keeps member schools informed and able to provide an appropriate response where ministry autonomy is at risk through legislative actions or requested input is desired.
How FACCS advocates
Representation in Tallahassee
FACCS maintains a presence at the state capital, representing the interests of member schools directly to legislators and staff.
Monitoring legislation
We track bills moving through both chambers of the Florida Legislature, watching closely for anything that touches Christian and private education.
Keeping members informed
Member schools receive timely updates on developments that matter — so leaders can act, prepare, and make their voices heard.
