About

Partners & Affiliations

FACCS does not stand alone. Our accreditation is recognized nationally and across Florida, and partner agencies let a FACCS school carry recognized seals around the world.

FACCS holds two kinds of organizational relationship. Some partners recognize FACCS accreditation — affirming, at the national and state level, that a FACCS-accredited school meets a credible standard. Others are co-accreditation partners: through a single, coordinated evaluation, a school can earn accreditation jointly from FACCS and the partner agency — one visit, one combined report, two recognized seals.

National Council for Private School Accreditation

A national body that unites and oversees the accrediting associations serving America's private and faith-based schools — in its own words, it "accredits the accreditors." Through rigorous peer review it holds its 36 member associations, together covering more than 8,000 schools, to a shared standard of quality and integrity that states and government agencies trust.

The FACCS relationship

FACCS is a recognized member accreditor of NCPSA. Because of that standing, accreditation earned through FACCS is nationally recognized — acknowledged by state education agencies, other accreditors, and receiving schools when families relocate or students transfer.

Florida Association of Academic Nonpublic Schools

A statewide coalition that gives Florida's nonpublic schools a unified voice — representing more than 1,200 schools and over 300,000 students on questions of funding, school choice, and equitable access to state services.

The FACCS relationship

FACCS accreditation is recognized by FAANS, and FACCS takes part in the coalition on behalf of its member schools. That participation helps FACCS schools qualify for state programs and ensures Christian education is represented in Tallahassee.

Middle States Association — Commissions on Elementary & Secondary Schools

A globally recognized, peer-review accreditation body focused on school improvement. Middle States accredits more than 3,000 schools and systems across 100-plus countries, drawing on thousands of educator-volunteers to conduct its reviews.

The FACCS relationship

Middle States is a FACCS co-accreditation partner. A FACCS school can be accredited jointly by FACCS and MSA through one coordinated self-study and visit — earning a regionally and internationally recognized seal alongside its FACCS accreditation.

Cognia

A global education nonprofit — formed from the legacy regional accreditors of AdvancED — that serves roughly 40,000 institutions in more than 100 countries. Cognia pairs accreditation with continuous-improvement tools, assessment, and professional learning.

The FACCS relationship

Cognia is a FACCS co-accreditation partner. Through a coordinated evaluation, a FACCS school can add Cognia accreditation — a widely recognized global seal — without duplicating the work of two separate reviews.
