Science Teacher 2026-2027

Middle/High School Science Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year

Current Curriculums used are BJU Press for 7th through 11th Grades

This position requires a 4 year degree. Applicants should also be proficient in basis computer programs. 

Classroom duties may include the following: 

• must teach in accord with stated philosophy and mission of Brush Arbor Christian School
• prepare parent orientation notes
• prepare and submit weekly lesson plans online
• teach subject matter effectively
• prepare and give tests and quizzes
• input grades online 
• maintain classroom control
• maintain communication with parents
• establish a grade book and keep accurate records
• take attendance for each class period
• monitor the health and safety of students
• report any suspected child abuse or neglect
• clean classroom daily 

Other duties may include the following:

• help plan field trips, class parties, programs
• assist in student pickup and dismissal
• prepare bulletin boards
• conduct parent conferences
• Answer parent questions promptly
• attend professional conferences to maintain teacher certification
