The Need:

Our current Head of School is preparing to answer God’s call to Christian education in Southeast Asia. The Board of Directors is prayerfully seeking the next leader God has already prepared to continue building upon this remarkable foundation. This is more than an administrative position. It is an opportunity to shepherd a growing community of students, families, faculty, and supporters who are united around a shared commitment to Christ-centered education.

Position Overview:

Pleasant Ridge Christian Academy seeks a spiritually mature, visionary Christian educator to serve as its next Head of School. This leader must possess both the heart of a shepherd and the judgment, discipline, and organizational ability of an effective executive. The Head of School serves as the Academy’s spiritual, academic, and executive leader, working in partnership with the Board of Directors to advance the mission and oversee the school’s people, programs, operations, and continued growth. The successful candidate will protect P.R.C.A.’s biblical identity while strengthening instructional quality, developing faculty, stewarding resources, supporting enrollment growth, planning for future facilities and programs, and cultivating strong community relationships. The next Head of School will join a healthy, growing school with significant momentum and the opportunity to help shape the future of Christian education in Northwest Florida.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A credible Christian testimony and active involvement in a Bible-believing church

• Full agreement with the Academy’s Statement of Faith

• Demonstrated experience in educational leadership

• A graduate degree in education or educational leadership

• Strong written, verbal, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Experience leading teams through growth and organizational change

• Experience with budgeting, financial management, and resource stewardship

• A sustained commitment to Christian education and student discipleship
