Elementary Teacher

Independent Baptist Academy is seeking a full-time elementary teacher for a multi-grade classroom. We are a small Christian school in the heartland committed to strong academics and the spiritual growth of our students.

This position utilizes the Abeka video program alongside teacher-led instruction, allowing the teacher to guide, support, and reinforce learning while maintaining an orderly and engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (education or related field preferred)
• Strong classroom management and organizational skills
• Agreement with our statement of faith and a consistent Christian testimony
• A genuine desire to work with children and invest in their academic and spiritual development

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and support students during Abeka video instruction
• Provide additional teaching, clarification, and individualized help as needed
• Maintain structure and classroom discipline
• Communicate regularly with parents and administration
• Participate in school activities and ministry opportunities
