Teachers for 2026-2027

Temple Christian School has been blessed with longevity in several teaching positions. As retirement approaches for some of our long-term staff, we will have a few openings for the 2026-2027 school year. The following positions will be open:

Secondary English Teacher
Secondary Science Teacher
Secondary Math Teacher
Elementary Teacher

The preferred candidates must have a bachelor’s degree in education or a bachelor’s degree that includes 18 semester hours in education. Experience working in a Christian school is desired.
Upon hire, teachers must obtain certification through the Florida Association of Christian Colleges and Schools (FACCS).

The job includes:
Planning and presenting engaging lessons for students using a Biblical Worldview.
Attendance at morning meetings and important school events.
Participation in professional development.
 
TCS uses the BJU Press curriculum for English, math, and secondary science courses.  Abeka is used for some subjects and Positive Action is used for Bible classes.
