High School Math Teacher

Position Description Secondary Math Teacher (9th- 12th) Position Overview Colonial Christian School, a FACCS fully accredited school, is seeking to hire an enthusiastic Secondary Principal / Assistant Principal to join our dedicated team
  Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging math lessons aligned with curriculum standards
• Teach middle school students (grades 9–12) a range of mathematical topics including arithmetic, pre-algebra, and introductory algebra
• Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and projects
• Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students
• Maintain a structured, respectful, and positive classroom environment
• Integrate technology and hands-on activities to enhance student learning
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and needs
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, staff, and administration
• Uphold and model Christian values in all interactions

  Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university
• Highly developed oral & written communication skills
• Ability to build relationships effectively & professionally with families & students
• Physical ability to handle frequent sitting, standing, & moving throughout the classroom
• Active member of their church
